I’m thrilled to be working with a group of students from the School of Nutrition on some delicious and healthful promotions around good food!  Throughout the school year you will see blog posts, tasting & learning events, retail promotions and lots of excitement around wholesome eating and campus life.  This week we’ve got a fantastic Ontario apple promotion happening, and here’s Antonia (one of our students) to tell you more…

This year’s apple growing season was extremely hospitable resulting in an abundance of a variety of local Ontario apples. With the extensive diversity of apples to choose from you won’t be able to get enough this season! You can try Ambrosia, Crispin, Cortland, Empire, Fuji, Gala, Golden Delicious, Honey Crisp, Ida Red, Jona Gold, McIntosh, Northern Spy, Red Delicious, Russet and Spartan.  Support sustainable consumption by using your buying power to purchase local Ontario apples.

This week with every parfait purchase you will receive an Ontario apple for free! On campus you can purchase apples for 0.60 cents at various outlets such as Starbucks in POD and the Hub.
